Joining me on the line is Babak Khorram, who is a columnist at The Commentary. Since September 2003, he has written the Khorram Country column, which has featured such subjects as health and science, international sport, and current affairs.

He was born in Iran and recently graduated from the University of British Columbia. He will be returning to UBC in the fall to pursue post graduate work.
