Roy MacGregor has written a column in the Globe and Mail since 2002. Beofer that he was at the National Post, the Ottawa Citizen, Maclean's, and the Toronto Star. He has won four National Magazine Awards, and received eight National Newspaper Award nominations. In 2005, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada. He is described in the citation as one of Canada's "most gifted storytellers," and that he is in his newest book, Canadians: A Portrait of a Country and Its People, an engaging and highly readable journey across the country in search of its identity and the people in this land.

The book is $35.00 and is published by Viking Canada. Roy MacGregor joined me from here in Vancouver.
