His career began in 1954, when as a student he began writing for Victoria's Daily Colonist. He delivered the paper, and appeared in it. He was on last to discuss the collection of Jim Coleman columns he edited. Last year, he co-wrote Matt Dunigan's memoir. Published by Harbour, this book retails for $32.95.
